Types of presentations, scientific and editing assistance

Research can be presented at the conference in the form of an oral communication concerning at least one of the three axes of the conference. Papers may be written and presented in English, French or Spanish. However, participants are encouraged to use English if possible.

Presentations in poster format presenting research projects or work in progress regarding at least one of the three axes of the conference will also be accepted. Posters may be written and presented in Spanish, French or English. Papers may be written and presented in English, French or Spanish. Half a day will be spent on a seminar for doctoral students, in which PhD students working within the ATD will be able to present their research project at a plenary session and debate it with the attendees. Oral communications

Researchers wishing to present an oral communication must follow the directions specified in this document and submit a file to the scientific committee using the conference templateand specifying the following:

  • title
  • author(s): first name(s) and last name(s), institution, country
  • axis to which the presentation belongs
  • three abstracts (English, Spanish and French)
  • the complete text of the presentation, which shall not exceed 4000 words.

The authors will then receive comments and suggestions from the scientific committee. In case of acceptance, authors will subsequently upload a revised version of their paper on the site before the conference.

During the conference, authors will have to illustrate their presentation with a slideshow in English in addition to a slideshow written in the oral language if it is not English.

Poster presentations

Researchers wishing to present a poster must follow the same rules as with oral communication with the only difference that the complete text shall not exceed 2000 words. In case of acceptance by the scientific committee, in addition to the provisional final version of their presentation and by the same date as in the case of oral presentations, authors have to upload a PDF file of their poster on the website of the conference.

Poster will be displayed by the organising staff. The dimensions of the poster must be A0 (841cm x 1189cm), either vertical or horizontal, at the authors’ discretion.

Presentations for the Doctoral students’ seminar

Those PhD students that have not made sufficient progress in their work to submit an oral presentation or a poster presentation can present their research project at the seminar for PhD students. This seminar shall be held in plenary session with short oral presentations.

Researchers wishing to present a project at the doctoral seminar must follow the same rules as with oral communication with the only difference that the complete text shall not exceed 2000 words. In case of acceptance by the scientific committee, authors have to submit the complete text of the first version of their presentation.

During the conference, authors will have to illustrate their presentation with a slideshow in English in addition to a slideshow written in the oral language if it is not English.

Dates and deadlines

Registration

If you are interested in attending this conference, please pre-register as soon as possible!

  • Registration for the conference will open in June 15, 2017 at the conference website.
  • Participants registering before October 15 30, 2017will benefit of a preferential rate.

Proposals for oral communications and posters

  • Proposals for oral presentations, posters and presentations for the seminar for doctoral students must be uploaded before September 30, 2017.
  • The committee’s response, indicating the changes to be made in the text, will be sent to the authors no later than October 20, 2017.

In case of acceptance,

  • The assessment report with the modification to be performed will be sent before November 30, 2017.
  • Authors should submit the provisional final text of their presentation (oral or poster) no later than January 4, 2018, in order to be included in the (electronic) pre-proceedings.
